    Blowing Primers

    This ammo had great accuracy for the price, about 1 MOA with a bipod and rear bag out of my AR-10, however I blew 5 primers out of a 20 round box. The primers then fell into my receiver causing malfunctions. This was unacceptable. I purchased 200 rounds and all of them are from the same lot. Not sure if I just got a bad lot, but I likely won't purchase this ammo again.

    This stuff is a great M-118 clone, shoots tight at CMP 600 yards; in Sako TRG, M-40A1, Supermatch M1A. Incredible deal; I can’t buy the Sierra Match King bullet for the price of loaded round! (87 cents.) Highly recommend!

    Great M-118 clone. Shooting 600 yard groups at CMP equivalent to Gold Medal Match! And for 87 cents a round? I can’t buy the Match King bullet for that.

Boat Tail Hollow Point Ammo is built to give you extreme accuracy for competitive shooting. The hollow point causes your bullet to fragment on impact and knock over your target, while the tapered end (boat tail) offers extremely good aerodynamics and accuracy.

While the .308 is often used for hunting, this particular round isn’t designed for it. This bullet doesn’t expand correctly on impact to use for hunting. Instead, it fragments and doesn’t create a significant wound channel. Check out Sierra GameKing products if you need a reliable hunting round.
