Expanding Horizons: Hi-Point Introduces New Large-Format Pistol Lineup

Posted by Nick Miles on Oct 30, 2024

Hi-Point Firearms is breaking new ground with an innovative expansion of their handgun portfolio, introducing three substantial additions that bridge the gap between pistols and carbines. These new large-format pistols feature built-in compatibility for stabilizing braces and incorporate the popular sighting system from their carbine line, including fiber optic front sights paired with ghost ring rear sights.

The 4595 Pistol by Hi-Point Firearms

The new family spans three popular calibers: 9mm Luger, 10mm Auto, and .45 ACP. Each model comes equipped with factory-threaded barrels to accommodate suppressors, demonstrating Hi-Point's commitment to modernization. The rear of each pistol features dual mounting options - a Picatinny rail section for various brace attachments, plus a buffer tube compatible opening beneath, offering shooters flexibility in their setup choices (with appropriate ATF compliance for stock installation).

The .45 ACP variant (Model 4595P) is slated for initial release, with Hi-Point indicating January 2025 availability. Base configuration starts will be starting at $461 MSRP, with premium packages featuring red dot optics and higher capacity magazines planned for future release. Launch dates for the 9mm and 10mm models are pending announcement.
