PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE. Southern Defense Solutions, LLC (“Southern Defense”) welcomes you into our family of customers. All users of this site agree that access to and use of this website, SouthernDefense.com (the “Site”), are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law contained herein (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this Site.
DISCLAIMER: By registering with Southern Defense, you confirm that you are the appropriate age to purchase items including but not limited to, firearms, ammunition and/or magazines and there are no local, state or federal laws prohibiting you from purchasing, receiving or owning items, including but not limited to firearms, ammunition or magazines.
Terms and Conditions
All customers must agree to Southern Defense’s statements and terms of sale before an order is placed. All orders are subject to review and approval by Southern Defense.
Customer Affirms:
- I am a U.S. citizen. I am not an illegal or unlawful alien.
- I am currently 21 years old or older if purchasing handgun ammunition, a handgun or a receiver, or eighteen 18 years or older (21 in Florida) if purchasing rifle ammunition or a rifle.
- By selling or delivering a firearm or ammunition to me or my selected Federal Firearms Licensed Store (“FFL”), Southern Defense is not violating any state or local law or ordinance.
- I am not under indictment for and have never been convicted in any court of law of a crime punishable by imprisonment for over a year.
- I am not a fugitive from justice of any kind.
- I am not an unlawful user or addicted to any controlled substance.
- I have not been adjudicated as mentally ill, and I have not been committed to any mental institution of any kind.
- I have never been nor am I expected to be discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions of any kind.
- I have not renounced my U.S. citizenship.
- I am currently not subject to any restraining order.
- I have never been nor am I expected to be convicted in any court of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence.
- I will use products purchased from Southern Defense for lawful purposes only.
Firearms Sales
All firearms are shipped to an FFL on your behalf. You may be asked to provide Southern Defense with the FFL information of your choice.
Prior to placing your order, please verify the following with your FFL of choice:
- The FFL will accept the transfer for all of the items on your order.
- The FFL is currently in business.
- Confirm the FFL’s business address for your order.
- Any additional transfer fees charged by the FFL for the transfer.
If you change the FFL information you originally provided to Southern Defense after your order has shipped, you will be charged for any additional shipping expenses that coincide with such change.
You may pick up your firearm at the FFL of your choice only if you pass a National Instant Criminal Background Check conducted at the FFL at the time of pickup.
After the transfer, all sales are final, and firearms cannot be returned to Southern Defense.
Southern Defense is not responsible for any items refused by your FFL. If your FFL of your choice is not available at the time of delivery and the package is returned to Southern Defense, additional shipping charges will apply to orders that must be reshipped.
By ordering a firearm, you certify you are the actual transferee/buyer of the firearm, are of legal age and satisfy all federal, state and local legal/regulatory requirements to purchase this firearm.
Shipping Restrictions for Firearms, Ammunition & Magazines
We do not ship to any area within the United States where we are prohibited by federal, state, or local law to ship a product. You understand that if you attempt to have a product shipped to these restricted areas, your order will be canceled, and you will be subject to paying a 20% cancellation fee.
It is the customer's responsibility to know the laws in his or her jurisdiction prior to purchasing products provided by Southern Defense. No product offered for sale by Southern Defense will be knowingly shipped or transferred to a person in any jurisdiction where it is unlawful to receive or possess such product.
Any customer who is shipping ammunition to a restricted state MUST send in their FFL/ID after order submission to have the order processed and shipped. To send a copy of your FFL/ID, please email info@southerndefense.com with your order number in the subject line and a digital copy/pdf file of the required documentation. Failure and/or refusal to do so, as well as sending expired documentation, may result in processing delays and ultimately a 20% cancellation fee.
All firearms must ship to an FFL.
Southern Defense does not ship outside the continental United States.
We do not ship ammunition to PO, APO or FPO Boxes.
The following states have additional Restrictions for Firearms, Ammunition & Magazines:
- Alabama
- No sales of knives with a blade length greater than 3 inches.
- Alaska
- No sales of any kind.
- California
- No sales of ammunition or projectiles to Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, or Avalon.
- All ammunition shipments must be shipped to an FFL. If you are an exempt individual (active MIL/LEO or FFL03+COE holder), then we may ship to you with the appropriate documentation.
- No sales of Franklin Armory Binary Triggers, rifles under 30 inches, non-compliant AR/AK Pistols, non-compliant AR/AK Rifles, complete AR/AK Receiver, automatic knives, Tannerite, and/or Flamethrowers.
- Colorado
- No sales of magazines with a capacity of 15+.
- No sales of non-compliant AR/AK pistols.
- No sales of ballistic knives.
- Denver: No sales of AR/AK parts, magazines with a capacity of 10+, stripped receivers, or complete receivers.
- Vail County, Boulder County: No sales of magazines with a capacity of 10+, stripped receivers, or complete receivers.
- Connecticut
- A valid/non-expired Connecticut State Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers is required for all ammunition and magazine orders. The order may only be shipped to the address shown on the Permit.
- No sales of: Franklin Armory Binary Triggers, AR/AK parts, threaded barrels, pistol braces, vertical grips, barrel shrouds/handguards, magazines with a capacity of 10+, non-compliant AR/AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, complete AR/AK rifles, complete AR/AK receivers, stripped AR/AK receivers, shotguns with a detachable magazine, shotguns with revolving cylinders, pistols with threaded barrels, and/or body armor.
- Delaware
- No sales of: shotguns and/or rifles to anyone under 21 years of age, variants of AR/AK rifles, pistols, and/or complete AR/AK receivers, semi-automatic pistols and semi-automatic rifles with fixed magazine with a capacity of 17+, detachable magazines with a capacity of 17+.
- District of Columbia
- No sales of any kind.
- Florida
- No sales of: Franklin Armory binary triggers or ballistic knives.
- Hawaii
- No sales of any kind.
- Illinois
- A valid/non-expired Illinois Firearm Owner's Identification Card (FOID) is required for all ammunition and magazine orders. The order may only be shipped to the address shown on the FOID or valid/non-expired IL Driver's License
- No sales of: pistol magazines with a capacity of 15+, .50 caliber ammunition, threaded barrels, pistol braces, rifle/pistol build kits, binary and/or forced reset triggers, bump stocks, shotguns with a detachable magazine, shotguns with revolving cylinders, pistols with threaded barrels, AR/AK rifles, AR/AK pistols, complete AR/AK upper receivers, AR-10 rifles, .50 caliber firearms, firearms with melting point restrictions, automatic knives, ballistic knives, and/or switchblades.
- Chicago: No sales of any kind.
- Deerfield: No sales of ammunition/projectiles, stripped or complete receivers, non-compliant AR/AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, AR/AK parts, pistol or rifle magazines with a capacity of 10+, and/or shotgun magazines with a capacity of 10+.
- Homewood: No sales of magazines with a capacity of 10+.
- Dolton: No sales of magazines with a capacity of 10+.
- Highland Park: No sales of stripped or complete receivers, non-compliant AR/AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, AR/AK parts, magazines with a capacity of 10+.
- Evanston: No sales of magazines with a capacity of 15+.
- Aurora: No sales of stripped or complete receivers, non-compliant AR/AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, AR/AK parts, magazines with a capacity of 15+.
- Skokie: No sales of magazines of 10+.
- Cook County: No sales of ammunition/projectiles, stripped or complete receivers, non-compliant AR/AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, AR/AK parts, magazines with a capacity of 10+, and/or non-compliant handguns/pistols
- Iowa
- No sales of Franklin Armory binary triggers.
- Maryland
- No sales of: rifles or pistol magazines with a capacity of 10+, Franklin Armory Binary Triggers, stripped or complete receivers, non-compliant AR/AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, non-compliant handguns/pistols, automatic knives, Tannerite, and/or flamethrowers.
- Annapolis: No sales of ammunition/projectiles.
- Massachusetts
- A valid/not expired Commonwealth of Massachusetts Class A Large Capacity License to Carry Firearms is required for all ammunition and magazine orders. The shipping address provided on the order must match the address shown on the License.
- No sales of: rifle or pistol magazines with a capacity of 10+, and/or shotgun magazines with a capacity of 5+.
- Michigan
- No sales of: AK pistols and/or flamethrowers.
- Minnesota
- No sales of: firearms with melting point restrictions, automatic knives, and/or switchblades.
- New Jersey
- A valid/non-expired State of NJ Firearms Purchaser Identification Card (FID) is required for all ammunition orders. The shipping address provided on the order must match the address shown on the FID.
- No sales of: rifle or pistol magazines with a capacity of 10+, non-compliant AR/AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, complete AR/AK receivers, non-compliant handguns/pistols, and/or non-compliant shotguns.
- New Mexico
- No sales of automatic knives.
- New York
- All ammunition shipments must be shipped to an FFL.
- No sales of: rifle or pistol magazines with a capacity of 10+, Franklin Armory binary triggers, non-compliant AR/AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, complete or stripped AR/AK receivers, non-compliant handguns/pistols, firearms with melting point restrictions, non-compliant shotguns, and/or automatic knives.
- New York City, Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island: No sales of ammunition/projectiles.
- North Carolina
- No sales of ballistic knives.
- North Dakota
- No sales of switchblades or gravity knives.
- Ohio
- No sales of ballistic knives.
- Pennsylvania
- No sales of automatic knives.
- Rhode Island
- A valid/non-expired Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Pistol/Revolver Certification ("Blue Card"), Division of Fish & Wildlife Hunter Education Card, or Permit to Carry Pistol/Revolver is required for all ammunition orders.
- No sales of: rifles or pistol magazines with a capacity of 10+ and/or Franklin Armoy binary triggers.
- Vermont
- No sales of rifle magazines with a capacity of 10+, pistol magazines with a capacity of 15+, and/or automatic knives.
- Virginia
- No sales of automatic knives.
- Washington D.C.
- No sales of any kind.
- Washington State
- No sales of: rifles or pistol magazines with a capacity of 10+, firearms parts kits, threaded barrels, barrel shrouds/handguards, shotgun magazines with a capacity of 7+, complete AR/AK receivers, stripped receivers, non-compliant AR-AK pistols, non-compliant AR/AK rifles, non-compliant handguns, non-compliant shotguns, shotguns with revolving cylinders, rifles under 30 inches, semi-automatic rifles under 30 inches, automatic knives, and/or firearm build kits.
Firearm Shipping & Delivery
Firearms will incur an additional long gun or handgun shipping surcharge.
- Handguns MUST be shipped UPS second-day air.
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Orders for products generally ship UPS, FedEx or USPS Mail. Southern Defense reserves the right to change or alter shipping methods from those selected at checkout without notice. Once your product is received by the carrier, you automatically assume all responsibility for its safe transit to your delivery address, and thereafter. You also agree to hereby explicitly release Southern Defense from all liability and responsibility thereafter. Southern Defense is not responsible for any lost or damaged packages after delivery.
When appropriate, a hazardous materials surcharge may be added to your order. A signature may be required on some packages and all hazardous materials packages.
Shipping Insurance
Shipping insurance for the customers of Southern Defense is enabled by default and appears during checkout as a “Add Shipping Insurance”.
The customer understands they are able to decline shipping insurance at any time during the checkout process. By declining shipping insurance, the customer understands that Southern Defense is not responsible for any issues relating to shipment or package delivery, including but not limited to: loss, damage and/or theft.
If a customer who selects shipping insurance during the checkout process, would like to begin a claim, please email us at: info@southerndefense.com with your order number and a detailed description of the issue. All claims are subject to review by Southern Defense and purchase of shipping insurance is not a guarantee of reimbursement.
If a claim is approved, the customer may be reimbursed via the following methods:
- Refund to the customer’s original payment method of the cost of the original merchandise, excluding sales tax (if applicable), shipping and/or handling charges, and the cost of shipping insurance per the customer’s order number/invoice.
- Store credit of the cost of the original merchandise, excluding sales tax (if applicable), shipping and/or handling charges, and the cost of shipping insurance per the customer’s order number/invoice.
- At the discretion of Southern Defense: re-shipment of the customer’s merchandise as previously purchased per the customer’s order number/invoice.
All shipping insurance claims must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase. Any claims made after 30 days of the date of purchase will be denied. Once a customer has contacted Southern Defense and initiated a shipping insurance claim, Southern Defense will reach out to the customer within a reasonable time frame. If a customer does not respond within 5 days of Southern Defense’s last message, the claim will be closed. Southern Defense may request additional photos and/or videos of the shipment/package, as well as a police report if a package is reported stolen.
Southern Defense’s shipping insurance will not reimburse shipping insurance claims including, but not limited to:
- Invalid and/or incomplete shipping address.
- Shipment/package marked “Return to Sender”.
- Merchandise/product missing within a shipment with no evidence of tampering.
- Orders not yet marked “Shipped”.
- Custom-order merchandise.
- Merchandise/product packaging is damaged but merchandise/product is still usable.
- Theft.
Return, Refund & Exchange Policy
All ammunition, gunpowder, and ammo primer sales are final.
All products purchased through special order are final.
Returns
Except for ammunition, gunpowder and ammo primer, returns and exchanges are approved of on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of order receipt. Please contact us at info@southerdefense.com to initiate your return or exchange.
Upon approval, the customer will be provided with instructions on how to return their merchandise.
Any eligible returns and exchanges must be returned in its original packaging. You are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed upon by Southern Defense. Once the 30-day return and exchange window has passed, you will not be eligible for a full refund or exchange.
A restocking fee up to 20% may apply to returns and exchanges. All returns and exchanges will be subject to inspection upon receipt by Southern Defense. Southern Defense will only accept returns and exchanges on products that are unused, undamaged, and unopened. Any products deemed damaged or inoperable due to the improper handling or use by a customer will not be accepted for a return or exchange.
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, all products sold are new and under warranty from the manufacturer, Should any items be defective, Southern Defense will provide a shipping label at no charge to return the defective item(s) and will give you a full refund, including shipping costs, if returned within 30 days of order receipt. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation, and registration that shipped with the product.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email that we have received your return item. If your return is approved, all refunds, minus any applicable shipping and handling fees, will be credited to the customer’s account (credit card/original method of payment) that was used at the time of purchase. To receive a refund, the product(s) must be received within 30 days of order receipt.
For defective or manufacturer issues with products, please contact the manufacturer for warranty support.
Order Cancellation Policy
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct products are ordered. Orders cannot be edited once they are submitted.
Edits include, but are not limited to:
- Shipping/Billing address updates.
- Changing a payment method on file.
- Modifying order quantity.
- Adding/Removing products.
- Adding/Removing shipping insurance.
- Adding/Removing Discreet Packaging, Rush Processing, and/or Signature Required.
- Adding/Removing Coupon Codes.
Orders that are canceled after submission may be subject to a 20% cancellation fee. Once an order has been shipped and tracking information is generated, the order cannot be canceled. Refusal to accept delivery of an order may be subject to a restocking fee of 20%, as well as any return shipping charges.

Agreement to Indemnify and Defend for Misrepresentation
In the event that any of the above statements are determined to be untrue, you agree to indemnify and defend Southern Defense, and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against any resulting civil liability or criminal prosecution.
Release of Liability and Agreement to Indemnify and Defend
Southern Defense is a retailer of dangerous products. By placing an order with Southern Defense, you explicitly agree to release Southern Defense from any and all liability arising from or related to the products purchased to include, but not limited to, the use of the product, the storage of the product, and the transportation of the product. You also acknowledge that you are responsible for how you use the product and any third-party use. In the event that any other party files a claim of any kind against Southern Defense, you will indemnify and pay to defend Southern Defense and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against any resulting civil liability or criminal prosecution.
Errors and Omissions
Southern Defense makes every effort to have accurate and complete information on our Site, including but not limited to pricing, availability, and product features, however, we occasionally make mistakes. Customer agrees that they will not hold Southern Defense liable for such mistakes or omissions and acknowledges that orders may be canceled after the fact due to errors or omissions.
ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS
Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures, or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order, we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money. Prices online and in-store may differ based on availability and vendor. There are no refunds or exchanges whether the price online or in-store was more or less than purchased in the alternate location. Please confirm the UPC you are ordering is the UPC you intend to receive. Items/products with the different UPC than what is ordered may be returned or exchanged. Items with different packaging and or images than what is received but have the correct UPC, may NOT be exchanged.

Certain services made available via this site are delivered by third party sites and organizations. By using any product, service or functionality originating from the SouthernDefense.com domain, you hereby acknowledge and consent that Southern Defense may share such information and data with any third party with whom Southern Defense has a contractual relationship to provide the requested product, service or functionality on behalf of SouthernDefense.com users and customers.
No Unlawful or Prohibited Use || Intellectual Property
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use SouthernDefense.com strictly in accordance with these terms of use. As a condition of your use of the Site, you warrant to Southern Defense that you will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. You may not use the Site in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Site. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Site.
All content included as part of the Service, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the Site, is the property of Southern Defense or its suppliers and protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property and proprietary rights. You agree to observe and abide by all copyright and other proprietary notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make any changes thereto.
You will not modify, publish, transmit, reverse engineer, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Site. Southern Defense content is not for resale. Your use of the Site does not entitle you to make any unauthorized use of any protected content, and you will not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. You will use protected content solely for your personal use and will make no other use of the content without the express written permission of Southern Defense and the copyright owner. You agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights in any protected content. International Users
The Site is controlled, operated, and administered by Southern Defense from our offices within the United States of America. If you access the Site from a location outside the United States of America, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use the Southern Defense content accessed through SouthernDefense.com in any country or in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions, or regulations.
Jurisdiction
You agree that if you, or someone else affected by your use of any product purchased from Southern Defense, brings a legal claim of any kind against Southern Defense, or any of its owners, agents, officers, or employees, that such legal action must be filed in Federal Court in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas located in Dallas, Texas. You also agree that any complaints filed within any other jurisdiction shall be immediately terminated and moved to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas located in Dallas, Texas, and agree to reimburse Southern Defense and its owners, agents, officers, and employees for any costs they may each incur in defending against the complaint or effecting its removal until such time that the complaint is properly filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas located in Dallas, Texas.
Changes to Terms
Southern Defense reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which SouthernDefense.com is offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Southern Defense encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
